Eley Williams

Eley Williams' collection of short stories Attrib: & Other Stories (Influx Press, 2017) is winner of the James Tait Black Prize 2018 and winner of the Republic of Consciousness Prize 2018. It was listed among Best Books of 2017 by The Guardian, The Telegraph and The New Statesman and chosen by Ali Smith as one of 2017's best debut fiction. Playful, irreverent and profound, the stories focus on the intricacies of the everyday and the inability to communicate exactly what we mean.

Eley is Fiction Co-Editor of 3:AM Magazine, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, and Lecturer in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, University of London.
