Kent-based literary sci-fi writer David John Griffin discusses his new time-travel adventure Abbie and the Portal with Kent-based fantasy writer Mark Stay, The End of Magic (due to be published February 2019).
In Abbie and the Portal, 'Help me I'm trapped' is the plea from a young woman named Abbie Concordia, written as a mysterious note found inside a Victorian book called 'caving in Faringham'. Terry Bridge, a reporter for The Charington Echo, takes up the challenge to save her...from the past. Mark Stay's The End of Magic will take you back to a time when magic collapsed, when the world went mad, chaos reigned, and we'll get to see it through the eyes of three people who have everything to lose...
David John Griffin is the author of Alastair Stubb, Infinite Rooms and Two Dogs at the One Dog Inn. He is a graphic designer, creator of iDevice apps and an occasional electronic music composer.
Mark Stay is a writer and co-presenter of the Bestseller Experiment podcast.
