Barney Campbell served in the British Army for six years. He is the author of 'Rain', a novel that draws on first-hand experience of combat.
DJG Palmer was born in Kent to older parents and grew up playing in ruined castles and reading historical adventures. He is author of Babanango: A Rougher Task, and has worked in the military, policing and social work, as well as the directorship of a homelessness charity.
