An exploration of friendship forged in the trenches of the First World War during the Gallipoli campaign of 1915–16, one of the worst fighting fronts of the war. Barney Campbell will be in conversation with author DJG Palmer.

Barney Campbell served in the British Army for six years. He is the author of 'Rain', a novel that draws on first-hand experience of combat.

DJG Palmer was born in Kent to older parents and grew up playing in ruined castles and reading historical adventures. He is author of Babanango: A Rougher Task, and has worked in the military, policing and social work, as well as the directorship of a homelessness charity.
