A line-up of local authors writing across fiction and non-fiction, and across a variety of interests and genres, introduce their work in a dynamic quick-fire presentation against the clock.

Faversham and the surrounding area has a vibrant writing community with lots of authors living in our midst, and every year lots of local writers get in touch, keen to take part in the festival. This is our second 'Local Author Showcase', this year with a different format, in which authors are invited to pitch their work to a strict time limit of three minutes each. Expect a fast-paced, lively atmosphere as they each take to the stage.
